Guide to the
Youth Cycling League
|
Looking for a new sport?
One which is fun, exciting, and different?
Are you 8 years old or older?
How about a chance to meet kids your own age and race your bike?
If you've answered "YES" to any of these questions, then the Youth Cycling League is for YOU!
|
The YCL is reinventing bicycle racing for kids. Our number one goal is to have FUN. Actually, that's goal numbers 2 and 3 as well!
We emphasize participation and welcome kids of all abilities on any kind of bicycle. We race for fun, but it's the icing, not the cake. Our mission is to teach kids a love of bicycling that will last for a lifetime.

Every Monday night starting in mid-June, the Youth Cycling League practices at Ft. Snelling. Practices begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm and include instruction and drill in cycling skills and a group ride in which parents are encouraged to participate.
