Promoters, there has been considerable discussion on other parts of the message board around attracting riders to races. One of ht things the MCF & we as promoters need to work on is creating easier access into the sports for developing riders.

In past years MCF mandated a Masters Cat 4/5 field. What is your feeling on re establishing this field? How would it affect your events? Is there other fields which would need to be combined to accomodate a M4/5?

Please respond with the name of your event and your opions on the following.

Could you accomodate a skills clinic before your race?
Could you host a M4/5 race?
Could you accomodate a cat 5 only race?
If so could this be in the middle of the day?
Could you accomodate a small expo area?
Could you accomodate some sort of kids features (ie inflatable, kids race)?

Not to be a wet blanket, but a reminder, that USA Cycling permit insurance does NOT cover those inflatable kids bouncy things. They remind us every year at the LA conference.
