2011 MCF Standard Cyclocross Event Schedule PDF Print E-mail

The standardized cyclocross event schedule was very well recieved in 2010, and will return in 2011. Remember to check flyers carefully, as a couple events may choose to use a slightly modified schedule.

Changes for this year include adding 15 minutes between each race to allow officials more time between races. It also gives racers time to preview the course prior to their race, without interfering with the previous race. This added 1 hour to the schedule, so races start 1/2 hour earlier than in 2010, and finish a 1/2 later.

The Men Cat 4/Beginners race has been moved to the first race of the day, and a Masters 55+ category has been added to the afternoon race.

Promoters are also expected to have their course ready for inspection and pre-ride at 9am.

2011 MCF CRY Applications Due July 31 PDF Print E-mail

Dear MCF Cyclocross Event Promoters, 

Applications for MCF Cyclocross Rider of the Year Event Status are due by July 31, 2011, with event selection occurring at the August 1, 2011 MCF Meeting.
 
  • Submit your application via email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by July 31, 2011
  • There is NO fee to apply for CRY status.
  • The CRY application is virtually identical to the MCF event application you filed early this year. However, your CRY application is needed to determine which events are interested in obtaining CRY status.
  • CRY applications submitted without a flyer will be denied.
  • 8 MCF Events will be selected at the August MCF Meeting.
  • All weekend MCF Cyclocross Events are eligible to apply for the series, with the exception of the MN State CX Championship
