My name is Megan Kelly. You're going to start seeing posts from me here occasionally. For the most part I'll be posting things like meeting minutes and agendas, but I also have a few side projects happening. Mainly, they entail an effort to update the MCF bylaws based on measures that have already been approved, but have never been added to the bylaws. For the next two years while I am secretary I hope that I can help you feel like you know what's going on in our organization, and help you get as involved as you want to be in it. 

I want to apologize for the tardiness of these minutes -- in the future, my goal is to have them up no later than one week after the meeting, and most of the time I should be able to have them posted the same night as the meeting. Additionally, my goal is to publish a meeting's agenda two weeks prior to the meeting. You can review the agenda and e-mail me with additional agenda items up to one week in advance of the meeting, at which time an updated agenda will be posted. This should mean that everyone wil have sufficient time to look at the agenda and think about and discuss the issues at hand. Agenda items brought to my attention less than one week before a meeting can be brought up at the meeting when the agenda is approved, but may be postponed until the following meeting in the event that the meeting runs over its allotted time.
