Technical Commission’s Report (6:50 – 7:00)

·         Tech commission report: 5 races are short on officials

§                Marty RR is the most pressing need for officials

§                Officials per races

o       Crits

Ø      Week day 3 officials

Ø      Weekend 4 officials

o       Road Races

Ø      1 for each field plus 2

o       Time Trials

Ø      Week day 3 officials

Ø      Weekend 4 officials

o       Cyclocross

Ø      4 officials, if chip timing 3 officials

 Promoter Committee Report (7:00 – 7:15)

·         Motion Approved: MCF Event Promotion Carrot proposal approved with $1,000 payment per 8 ROY & 8 CRY events. MCF will cover $500/race, promoting clubs will cover $500/race. MCF per rider fees will be waived for these races. Promoter is responsible to pay $500 fee payable on race day. This is for 2010 only.

·         Service provider contract will be written by Kevin Lennon

NEW BUSINESS (7:45 - 8:00)

·         Selection of ROY/CRY events

§                8 ROY (3 crits, 3 road races, 2 TTs)

o       Promoters to submit their bid for ROY criteriums and TT races by April 15, 2010, Decision by April 16, 2010

Ø      MCF Executive Board + Matt Anderson, Russ Louks, and Kevin Lennon will vote on final ROY criteriums & TTs

Ø      ROY road races for 2010 will be Ken Woods, Birchwood, Spunk Lake

§                8 CRY

·         Announce ROY categories

§                New Women’s ROY categories:

§         3,4 women (4s will be ROY category, 3s will not. If you are a 3 and want ROY points you must race the 1,2,3 race)

§         Masters 40+ 3,4 ROY

§         1,2,3 (3s will be ROY and 1,2s will be ROY category)

·         Rainy day fund for races that run into weather or issues

·         Discuss allocation of dates for road and cyclocross

·         Surcharges to be waived for State Championship events (voted down) State Championship events will have to pay MCF surcharges

·         Women’s 40+ racing category and ROY

·         VP position open as of August 1, 2010, send in your nominations
