Series Points and Awards:

Some riders may have an option of riding in different CRY categories (e.g., a 36 year old, category 2 male may ride the category 1/2 or master 35+ race). These riders must specify at registration for each event which CRY category they will compete.

Final CRY standings will be based on a rider's top 5 results within their selected category. The first, second, and third place riders within each CRY category, for the series, will be recognized at the annual MCF awards party. Sponsors will provide prizes for the winners of each category.

The CRY competition is considered a series competition and all USA Cycling rules shall apply. If a tie occurs, the USAC rules for determining the winner will apply.

Placing within the CRY competition is based on the highest to lowest point totals.

Points may not be transferred laterally (e.g., from Masters to Cat 3).

A rider who is upgrading will retain 100% of their points within the original category, and no points will be transferred to the higher category.

Events with combined fields will have points awarded based on the riders' placing against other riders of the same CRY category (i.e. In a 1/2/3 race, a Cat 3 rider who finishes 8th overall and is the first Cat 3 finisher will earn 100 CRY points).

Points within a CRY category are as follows and do not change based on field size:
