About the Minnesota Cycling Federation

We are the local area association in Minnesota for USA Cycling. We help coordinate between the sanctioning body, the riders, and the promoters. We hope that this website  will help you find what you need to either go racing or put on a race. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

Meet The Board

Atsuko Fukushi

Atsuko Fukushi

President

Atsuko came to bike racing after commuting around town, doing some alleycats and riding gravel in college. The supportive infield of the track got her racing, and she now races cyclocross, road, and occasionally, mountain. Atsuko is passionate about introducing the sport to new women/ trans/ femme/ nonbinary and POC riders. She is a road and cross promoter, focusing on how to lower barriers to entry and make sanctioned racing less intimidating for newcomers. She is excited to serve on the board of MCF to work on new and exciting initiatives!
Wesley Ferguson

Wesley Ferguson

Vice President

Wesley Ferguson first involved himself in the advocacy in cycling once realizing the cycling caters to certain people. He has dedicated himself to a role to bring representation into the cycling community. Wesley has spent his time organizing bicycles, bicycle aide, and guide services for those in need after the events of the summer of 2020. With the competitive no-quit nature that comes with the sport, Wesley is determined to bring a fresh face to this exciting world.
Charlie Anderson

Charlie Anderson

Treasurer

Engineer by day biker by night. Long time racer on the road and mountain bike.  Got my start in Wisport races back in the day.  First racing license in college and haven’t looked back since.  Track racer (formerly?) and occasionally on the road.  Attended Master’s Track nationals in 2013 and came away with two top 10s.

I love math, so treasurer seems like a perfect way to give back and complement my skill set.
Claire Milldrum

Claire Milldrum

Secretary

Claire is an avid cyclist, training for cyclocross and gravel. She hopes to race a crit or two in 2023. Her main goal with being secretary is to continue to deepen the internal structure of the organization and encourage new riders to show up with what they got! She was pleased to be a host of Driftless Gravel Camp, which helped new gravel riders explore the sport.

Partners

We are pleased to announce that this year we are partnering with River Moon Wellness! We highly encourage you to go and check out their website and subscription coffee services. They will have a presence at some of our races, especially the more cold weather oriented CX events this fall. Please give them a look as they are helping support the Upper Midwest racing scene!
